Gas leak alert over at Neste Oil's Porvoo refinery

The hazardous situation that resulted from a leak of LPG at the Porvoo refinery has been declared over. Repairs on the section of the process unit affected have begun and the maintenance work that had already started on the unit is continuing as planned. No injuries, no damage to the environment of the plant, and no production losses have been incurred. Members of the refinery's fire service will remain on duty at the location to secure the situation.
