We have gathered here some tips and frequently asked questions that may help you when applying for a job with us.

All our open positions can be found in our Open jobs site and should be applied online. We also recommend you set up Job Alerts to receive automated emails about Neste's job openings, as we are not able to receive open applications by e-mail at the moment.

What is the interview process like at Neste?

Our interview process may include one or more face-to-face interviews. We also use video interviews and remote meeting tools for interviews. In addition to the interviews with the hiring manager and possibly other Neste team members, you may be invited to an aptitude assessment with an external partner. At Neste, we also include a background check (pre-screening) in the process before making the final decision.

How do you use personal data at Neste?

From a candidate’s point of view, you have the opportunity to manage your own personal data through Neste's recruitment portal. You can change, update, or delete your data in your candidate profile at any time. However, you are not able to make changes to an individual application or its attachments after submitting the application.

We may use aptitude assessment and/or video interviews as a part of our recruitment. If needed, you can request our service providers, such as aptitude assessment partners, to give you further information concerning your personal data, for example, involving the aptitude assessments and/or video interviews. Video interviews will be stored for 12 months. If needed, you can request RecRight to delete your video and personal account by contacting them directly; support@recright.com.

Practical tips

If our system gives an error message, make sure you use Chrome as your browser. You may also need to empty the browser history.

You can enclose different attachments for each application in our system, but your candidate profile will show only the latest one.

If you withdraw your application, you cannot apply for the same job again. Once you have sent an application, it cannot be modified, so make sure everything is included. Use the same language in your application as was used in the job posting.

Tips for summer trainees

While we appreciate all interest towards our summer jobs, unfortunately we cannot answer questions about specific summer jobs by e-mail or over the phone. For any general queries about summer jobs and the application process, please send them to summerwithneste@neste.com.

You can be a student or a recent graduate when you apply for a summer job at Neste.

Summer trainees often stay to work for Neste in another capacity, but we cannot guarantee a place for all summer trainees.
