3 challenges TITAN Freight wanted to solve:
Reduce emissions to achieve TITAN’s sustainability goals
A seamless transition
Maintain or reduce operating costs
Solution
With about 40 percent of Oregon’s greenhouse gas emissions coming from the transportation sector, TITAN wanted to do their part to reduce carbon footprint in addition to guaranteeing fast delivery times and providing low-cost options for customers. In 2020, TITAN took a major step to reduce its fleet emissions by making the switch to Neste MY Renewable Diesel, allowing the company to achieve its sustainability goals almost overnight.
“Neste has been a great partner because they have been there every step of the way. I spent an entire year doing the research and the analysis, and I interviewed no less than a dozen stakeholders. In hindsight, it turned out to be one of the best business decisions I’ve ever made,” said Keith Wilson, President & CEO, TITAN Freight.
Results
Since switching to Neste MY Renewable Diesel, TITAN and Neste have kept 1,000 metric tons of CO₂ out of the atmosphere each year, which is equal to planting 16,535 trees.
By partnering up with Neste, TITAN is making a big difference in reducing greenhouse gas emissions in Oregon. Alongside the environmental benefits, TITAN also experienced superior performance and reduced maintenance costs. Neste hopes to work with more customers like TITAN and continue doing the right thing for the future of our children.
