Neste Oil appoints Petri Lehmus as Vice President of Research and Technology
Neste Oil has appointed Petri Lehmus D.Sc. (Technology), 40, Vice President of Research and Technology. Lehmus will head up the company's Research and Technology Unit, which employs around 250 people and is responsible for developing new products and production technologies and various specialist and laboratory services. He will take up the position on 1 November 2011 and will report to Lars Peter Lindfors, Senior Vice President, Technology and Strategy.
Petri Lehmus comes to Neste Oil from Borouge, where he has worked as Innovation Centre manager for the last four years and has been responsible for Borouge's research units in Abu Dhabi and Shanghai. Petri Lehmus also has extensive experience from his time at Borealis, where he worked in various management positions in catalyst and process technology research.
