Neste Oil comes second in Finland’s Best IR Web Site Competition

Neste Oil’s Investor Relations (IR) function received national recognition on Thursday, 6 March when the company’s web site was declared the second best in Finland in the large cap category of the Best IR Web Site Competition organized by the Finnish Foundation for Share Promotion and the Finnish Society of Financial Analysts. The competition was the sixteenth to be held to date.

The criteria used in the competition focused on three areas: how comprehensive a picture of a company as an investment a site gives, how a company’s financing and risks are described, and how corporate governance issues – such as ownership structure, flagging notices, and remuneration matters – are covered.

Juha-Pekka Kekäläinen, Neste Oil’s Vice President, Investor Relations, was on hand at the ceremony in Helsinki to receive Neste Oil’s award.

“It was very welcome to see that the long-term work we have put into developing our IR site has again been recognized like this. We have concentrated a lot on the content we provide and ensuring that it is up-to-date. Our planned site revamp will enable us to further develop its usability.”
