Neste has rewarded several contractors globally with the Contractor Safety Award. With this Award, Neste wants to thank contractors for their excellent safety commitment and performance during the last year. These awards coincide with Neste’s annual Safety Week which started on Monday, April 22.
“Contractors are an integral part of Neste’s value chain. Their expertise and the quality of their work have significant impacts, influencing not only personal safety but also operational safety – which in turn positively affects overall business performance. Our common goal “No harm.Together.” is achieved through close collaboration and strong commitment to safety,” says Hannele Jakosuo-Jansson, Executive Vice President, Human Resources, Safety and Communications.
As part of the Neste Safety Week several contractors are awarded by Neste’s local organizations globally. Neste rewards contractors that have improved their safety practices, have not compromised on safety in operations, and have performed their work with a high level of quality and safety.
One of the awardees is Dialog Plant Services Pte Ltd who worked at the Singapore refinery maintenance shutdown. Dialog demonstrated excellent safety leadership which was especially evident in strong employee engagement, proactive actions related to safety observations as well as clear and comprehensive safety communications on site. With strong management presence on site and diligent practice of “Stop Work Authority”, Dialog Plant Services represents a culture where safety is predominant.
Other Contractor Safety Award winning companies include industrial services provider Bilfinger, awarded in Rotterdam and Finland based companies Telinekataja, providing scaffolding services, lifting service company Eilola Logistics and tank cleaning and inspection company Finnsäiliö.
“Congratulations and sincere thanks to all Contractor Safety Award winners! At Neste, we prioritize the safety and wellbeing of our contractors. We are delighted to work with responsible contractors who are committed to continuously improving safety practices in collaboration with us.
